This 32 year old biker has a biking accident and broke the edges of his front teeth. After x-rays and CT scans it was confirmed that the nerves and roots of these teeth were intact and healthy. These teeth were repaired with composite bonding's. In the future, these bonding's may be replaced with ceramic veneers for better colour stability, durability and strength. The patient is still a keen biker!

This busy 39 year old lady was not happy with the broken UR1 which also suffered from congenital deep staining. After discussing all possible options going forwards, we decided on the most conservative route. We cleaned the tooth, masked over the dark spots with opaque materials and then restored the tooth with a composite bonding. We were very pleased with results, as was the patient.

This 49 year old man was unhappy with the misalignment of his upper front incisors which created wonky inverted edges and looked too short. He was not prepared to undergo Orthodontic treatment to align them, so we added composite bonding to the edges increasing the length of these teeth and improving their shape.

This 26 year old lady was suffering from severe wear of the edges of her upper front teeth as a result of night time grinding in a forward and backwards direction. She was unhappy with the shortness/flatness of these teeth making her smile much older than her age.

She was treated with very conservative composite plastic bondings to lengthen and shape the edges of the upper front 6 teeth to their ideal age/sex appropriate size/contour.

This 20 year old male university student was accidentally hit in the mouth by a racquet while playing squash. His teeth were very sensitive due to exposed nerves and also quite unsightly. Amazingly, he found the broken fragments and brought them with him.

We managed to successfully bond the original tooth fragments back onto the teeth with minor additional repair work. To this day, the teeth look and feel great!

This 16 year old boy fell off his bike and collided with a parked car causing severe trauma to his face, lips and teeth. One tooth suffered irreversible nerve damage and was root canal treated. All damaged teeth were repaired and restored with composite bonding's.

When he is older, and if the bonding's need to be improved upon, we will discuss and possibly carry out ceramic veneers.

This beautiful 22 year old had a LR1 with a congenital defect which affected its shape and colour. In the past this defect was masked with bonding's unsuccessfully. After much discussion, we whitened all of this patients teeth and placed a ceramic veneer over this tooth to restore it to ideal shape and colour. For improved incisal harmony, the corner of the LL1 was also polished down to provide a very natural end result.

This sporty 27 year old man was an extreme habitual night time clencher / grinder which had not been diagnosed nor prevented. as a result of this, his front and back teeth were worn very badly affecting his smile. His brief to us was to have a perfect yet natural smile. After a full assessment, his new smile was designed and tested over his teeth with mock ups and temporaries. We competed his treatment with ceramic veneers for all visible teeth. The end result being beautiful, unworn white teeth, well aligned and age appropriate. The patient was delighted with his new smile.

This elegant 63 year old lady was born with an edge to edge bite affecting her front teeth, which had lead to the gradual wearing/chipping of these teeth. The ongoing shortening of these teeth and the fact that her upper arch was very narrow meant she did not show very much teeth at rest or during a full smile. This creates an aged look which she did not like. After much planning and seeking opinions from our Orthodontic colleagues, we decided to open her bite with ceramic onlays on the back teeth which created space between her front teeth to allow for ceramic veneers providing with a longer, broader and whiter smile she had always craved for.

This humorous 79 year old man was wearing down his lower front teeth placing them at risk of nerve damage and or breakage. It was decided to restore them with ceramic veneers to protect them. Of course, the aesthetic appearance has also improved hugely, as an added bonus.

This beautiful 83 year old lady was very unhappy with the ongoing chipping of her upper front teeth and the constant bleaching treatment she had to carry out to maintain a desirable white colour to her teeth.

After much discussion, she opted for conservative ceramic veneers for her upper front teeth. She now enjoys more durable teeth and a slightly more youthful smile that better suits her personality and is stable in shape and colour.

This 64 year old gentleman was suffering from broken, drifted and spaced lower front teeth. He was very unhappy with their aesthetic appearance.

He was treated with general teeth whitening followed by ceramic veneers achieving an ideal and age/sex appropriate result.

This 46 year old lady had suffered tooth wear and chipping as a result of years of night time clenching and grinding which had created an aged look to her teeth. Upper and lower teeth whitening was carried out followed by restoring the upper front teeth with ceramic veneers to create a brighter and more youthful smile.

This 27 year old man did not like the spacing between his front teeth, the shortness of his central incisors and the protruding canines. He also wished for a brighter smile.

After extensive design work, laboratory wax up and in the mouth mock ups to show the patient the possible outcomes, he opted for ceramic veneers. The veneers have produced a beautiful, youthful and harmonious end result, which satisfied all his wishes.

This 16 year old girl broke her upper front teeth during a fall. Two ceramic veneers were used to restore this patients incisors back to ideal shape, strength and aesthetics.

This 56 year old lady was not happy with the appearance of her veneers and the general appearance of her smile. Teeth whitening was carried and the replacement of her veneers with a much more pleasing colour, shape and a alignment.

52 yr old lady was unhappy with the dark colour of her veneers that were more than 10 yrs old. Whitening and 10 new veneers were carried out which made for a whiter and more youthful appearance.

69 year old lady who was unhappy with the crowding of her upper front teeth. She also felt that her upper teeth were not very visible when she talked and smiled.

10 ceramic veneers were used to align her upper front teeth, and position them further forward providing her with the beautiful smile which she and others enjoy every day.

62 year old gentleman who was unhappy with the chipping and crowding of his upper and lower front teeth. He refused orthodontic treatment. 12 ceramic veneers were sued to align this patients teeth and provide him with an attractive but masculine smile.

This astute 57 year old man was not happy with the colour, shape and position of his 3 unit bridge. There was decay at the margins and staining in between the teeth. The teeth were positioned too far forward in a protruding manner which the patient did not like. After much assessment and a detailed wax design, we agreed on the ideal position of the future teeth and remade the bridge after full mouth teeth whitening. An improved temporary bridge was first made to check the improvements were ideal. For better symmetry, we decided to place a matching ceramic veneer on the UL2 which beautifully completed the picture. As the patients gum line is covered by his upper lip while smiling, we made no effort to hide the bridge margins under the gums, hence allowing for better cleaning.

This attractive 39 year old lady was very unhappy with the appearance of her 3 unit bridge. The bridge was too dark, too dull, too short, obvious connection between the units and the UL1 too long near the gum line due to lack of any bone. We bone grafted the UL1 site to idealise the bone anatomy. This allowed us to make a new 3 unit bridge where the gum lines are level on all units. We also whitened her teeth, and made the new bridge longer, whiter, better aligned and not seem connected. For optimum symmetry, we also restored the UR2 with a matching ceramic veneer. She was very delighted and enjoyed smiling again !

This lovely 46 year old medical nurse, was not happy with the aesthetic appearance of her older crowns. They were the wrong shape, alignment and colour. They were also connected which did not allow for ideal hygiene. After much design work, the health of the gums was improved and new crowns wear made with the correct shape, colour and alignment. She and us were very delighted with the end results.

This 34 year old man presented with an infected UL1 due to a failed root canal treatment. The infection was treatment successfully by our in house Specialist Endodontist. The tooth under the crown as well as all the other teeth were whitened and an all ceramic crown made for the UL1. It was decide to also make a ceramic veneer for the UR1 for improved symmetry. We took this opportunity to lengthen both teeth to achieve a more youthful appearance.

This 21 year old lady was very unhappy with the aesthetic appearance of her crown upper right lateral incisor. Its shape, texture and shade were less than ideal.

The poor fit at the gum line also caused food to get trapped and caused constant redness and inflammation. We replaced this crown with one that looked and fitted perfectly restoring her tooth to ideal health and beauty.

This 22 year old young lady had suffered trauma to her UL1 when she was much younger. At that time, the tooth was root canal treated and a ceramic crown placed. Unfortunately, due to the darkening of the underlying tooth and the transparency of the ceramic material, the end result is a crown that looks grey and quite dark by the gum line.

To address all the underlying problems, we carried root canal therapy to improve the health of the tooth followed by internal bleaching of the tooth over 3 visits to whiten the core structure of the tooth.

We masked the tooth structure with opaque bonding material and restored the tooth with an all ceramic crown with an opaque core to help block the dark inner layers. The end result is very pleasing, and you may notice that the colour of the gum above the tooth is also much improved.

This 59 year old lady was not happy with the appearance of her relatively new crowns so seaked our assistance. She felt the crowns were not bright enough, they were mono chromatic, irregular, poorly shaped, poorly textured, too masculine and did not produce the width of smile she wished.

After extensive assessment and design work we produced a wax design to follow her wishes and this was tested to perfection with the temporary crowns. Once she was satisfied with the temporaries, we completed her treatment with all ceramic crowns with much improved brightness, shape, texture and alignment.

This 47 year old lady was very unhappy with the aesthetic appearance of her upper front crowns. She felt they were too dark, too flat, too short and poorly shaped/aligned.

Her new crowns were made whiter with significantly improved, shape, alignment, fullness, length and texture. Her new bright smile now better matches her wonderful personality.

This 48 year old lady was unhappy with the colour, shape, alignment and margin exposure of her old crowns. 2 all ceramic crowns were used to restore these teeth to ideal aesthetics.

This 45 year old lady was unhappy with the appearance of her 2 front crowns and heavily filled and stained laterals and canines. 4 crowns and 2 ceramic veneers were used to restore this patients smile following her strict requirements of shape and colour.

This 16 year old boy broke his front teeth when he fell off his bike. The tooth was restored with a minimal preparation ceramic crown.

This 17 year old girl broke her lower front teeth in a sport accident. They were restored with all ceramic bonded crowns to ideal shape.

This 72 year old lady was unhappy with the shape and colour of her old crowns and bridges. 2 bridges and 6 crowns were used to restore all her upper teeth into the beautiful and hygienic smile she now enjoys.

This 45 year old lady presented with an infected and fractured UR2 which could not be saved. This tooth was removed and the extensive defect bone grafted. 6 months later an Implant was placed and the site grafted further to achieve optimal soft tissue anatomy. When it was time to make a crown for the UR2, we decided to also replace the old crown on the UR1 for better aesthetic harmony.

This 49 year old lady was suffering from chronic infection related to a failed root canal treatment upper left central incisor due to an internal root fracture. Due to the aggressive nature of the infection, there was significant bone loss around this tooth.

We removed this tooth and over 3 separate procedures, bone grafted the jaw to its original dimensions prior to placement of an Implant. The end result was very satisfactory to the patients and us.

This 34 yr old lady was not happy with her denture which replaced the front incisor. A dental implant was used to provide her with a fixed aesthetic solution.

This 76 year old lady was not happy with the ongoing breakages of her upper teeth which she eventually lost through untreated gum disease. All her upper teeth were replaced with crowns and bridges supported by dental implants.

This 45 year old gentleman lost his upper incisor due to a root fracture, this tooth was replaced with an implant 4 months following the extraction.

This 32 year old lady suffered from multiple episodes of infection from her incisor which was untreated and was extracted. This tooth was replaced with a dental implant which provided her with a healthy smile.

This amazingly brave 67 year old lady came to see us after a 17 year absence from the dentist due to severe anxiety. She was unhappy with the pain she was having from her upper incisors and there un aesthetic appearance. After a thorough and gentle examination and discussions, we decide to remove these teeth and replace them with an acrylic partial denture. She was delighted with the results and is much mire relaxed about visiting us in the future. We felt honoured to be art of her dental journey !

This 31 year old lady was unhappy with the appearance of her upper two front teeth which she eventually lost due to untreated gum disease. These teeth were replaced with a removable partial denture.

This 46 year old lady had suffered from severe tooth loss at the edges of her upper and lower front teeth as well as multiple breakages of her back teeth and existing crowns as a result of an untreated chronic night time clenching and grinding habit and gastric acid reflux.

She was very unhappy with the broken shapes to her teeth and the over closed appearance of her jaws due to the shortened teeth. She was also suffering from dental sensitivity due to the lack of enamel on so many of her teeth.

She was treated with full mouth ceramic crowns/onlays and veneers to restore the height of her mouth and the shape/alignment of her teeth to the ideal. Her new beautiful smile now totally suits her age and sex.

This 18 year old young lady was suffering from congenitally missing adult back teeth and smaller than usual front teeth with generalised spacing between her teeth. She was very unhappy with the colour, shape, alignment and spaces between her teeth.

She also felt her upper front teeth where too short and positioned too far back therefore not visible when she smiled. This unhappiness was affecting her confidence and ability to smile with comfort in public.

She was treated with ceramic onlays and veneers to close the spaces and restore her bite and her teeth to the ideal. Her confidence in her smile is now fully restored and it now matches her very outgoing personality.

This 38 year old man was suffering from extensive upper and lower tooth wear/chipping to the biting surfaces of his teeth as well as the frontal aspects. This was as a result of an advanced night time bruxing habit and a chronic coke drinking habit.

He was experiencing severe sensitivity from his teeth and very unhappy with the aesthetics of his smile. He was treated with full mouth ceramic crowns/onlays and veneers to restore his teeth to the ideal shape and colour.

This 34 year old lady was very unhappy with the appearance of her teeth as well as the severe sensitivity she was having while eating and drinking. After further investigations, it was revealed that she was a severe night time teeth clencher/grinder, consumed vast quantities of fizzy drinks which lead to the erosion and wear of her teeth.

All her upper and lower teeth were restored with crowns and veneers to provide her with a strong, aesthetic and functional smile. Her diet has been adjusted since and she wears a night guard at night in bed.

Impacted wisdom teeth that fail to grow normally can cause food trap which leads to persistent gum infection and tooth decay. For this reason, they are removed to allow for better hygiene.

If the nerve in the middle of the tooth becomes decayed and infected (due to a crack, accident or cavity), the canal system has to be cleaned, sterilised and filled. This process is called root canal treatment which allows the tooth to be saved, and not extracted.

This is the name given to gums that are swollen, bleeding and painful as a result of infection caused by bacteria and plaque sitting on the surfaces of the teeth above and below the gum line. The removal of the bacteria and debris will bring about resolution and return the gums to their ideal healthy state.
